The Switzerland Women’s National Cricket Team enjoyed a sensational weekend in Luxembourg, completing a clean sweep in the Women’s T20I Tri-Series against Luxembourg and Austria. The Swiss side proved dominant across all departments, winning all three matches and lifting the trophy in commanding fashion.
In the Final against Luxembourg, Switzerland chased down the target of 82 in just 10.3 overs, sealing the series with confidence.
One of the highlights of the tournament came from Amrita Sasidharan, who scored a superb 63 runs on her international debut. This outstanding performance places her 11th on the all-time list of highest scores on T20I debut – a remarkable achievement.
Individual awards also reflected Swiss excellence:
- Meghna Rajan – Tournament MVP & Best Batter, also MVP in 2 out of 3 matches.
- Parinitha Mundra – Tournament Best Bowler.
The weekend’s triumph reinforces Switzerland’s growing presence in international women’s cricket, with the team combining consistency, talent, and teamwork to secure another memorable series victory.
