On the memorable evening of Feb 3rd, we celebrated the remarkable victory of our Swiss National Squad at the Malta Cup, an event graciously hosted by the Cricket Switzerland Executive Committee. It was a gathering imbued with the spirit of triumph and forward-thinking.
Our National Team Manager and Head of Selection, Mr. Nasir Mahmood, alongside coaches Chris and Roshan, welcomed our distinguished guests, sharing insights from the past year and unveiling ambitious plans for the future.
The highlight of the evening was our national team captain @alinayyer presenting the Malta Cup trophy to the board, a proud addition to the Cricket Switzerland archives.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Vice President Mr. Abraham Koshy and Finance Director Mr. Clive Denny for acknowledging the team’s efforts and reflecting on our remarkable growth since joining the ICC.
The evening also sparked constructive discussions on areas for improvement and culminated in the presentation of trophies to our distinguished players for their outstanding performances in Malta.
