Season 2025
Cricket Switzerland National League
Welcome to the Cricket Switzerland National League, the exciting tier 2 competition in the Swiss cricket structure. This 40-over league features nine teams ranked from 10th to 18th in the country, battling it out for promotion and glory.
Competition Format
Each team plays against all other teams once during the season, hosting four games and traveling for four. This balanced format ensures every team gets the opportunity to showcase their skills both at home and away.
Champion and Promotion
The team with the highest points at the end of the season will be crowned the National League champion. In case of a tie on points, Net Run Rate (NRR) will decide the winner, with the higher NRR taking the honors.
The top two teams will earn promotion to the Premier League in the following season, while the bottom two teams face relegation to the National League.
Season Timeline
- Start Date: 1 April
- End Date: 19 October
Recognition and Rewards
To honor exceptional performance, prize money will be awarded to both the champions and the runners-up at the end of the season.
