CC Wettingen establish women’s cricket team
On Sunday 9th May, CC Wettingen held the club’s first women’s cricket practice session at the Margelacker School Ground in Wettingen.
In glorious sunny conditions, five women from Aargau & Zurich attended their first ever cricket practice. Under the expert eye of coaches Charlotte Villiers-Smith & Chris Lodge, each participant experienced for the first time how to bowl, bat & field using Kwik cricket bats & balls. Before the end of the two hour session, the ladies found time to play their first match.
