Cricket Switzerland Regional League (CSRL)
The Cricket Switzerland Regional League (CSRL) forms the third tier of the 40-over competition structure. The inaugural 2024 season will feature 17 teams, divided into two geographically-based groups.
Each group will compete in a round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals.
The two finalists will earn promotion to the Cricket Switzerland National League for the 2026 season.
The CSRL is organized by Cricket Switzerland and adheres to the official rules and regulations governing the 40-over competitions.

Tournament Schedule
- Tournament Start Date: 1 April 2025
- Semi-Finals: 20-21 September
- Reserve Dates for Semi-Finals: 27-28 September
- Finals: 5 October
- Reserve Date for the Finals: 12 October

CSRL Playing conditions
Match Venues
The home team is responsible for arranging the venue for matches. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit, and all penalties associated with a forfeit will be applied.
Match Days and format
- Both Saturdays and Sundays are considered match days, depending on the availability of the home ground. Teams cannot refuse to play on Saturdays.
All CSRL matches will be played with 40 overs per side.
Lunch Arrangements
- Providing lunch is optional.
- If no lunch is provided, clubs must inform the opposing team and match officials in advance to allow for necessary arrangements.
Match Officials
For regional league competitions, each game requires a minimum of one official umpire. Clubs are responsible for appointing player-umpires to serve as leg umpires. For knockout games, Cricket Switzerland will assign neutral match officials.
The names of match officials must be recorded in the CricHeroes app by the official scorers.
