The CricketerPro T20 Championship – Division 2 came to a thrilling conclusion on 7 September 2025, as Basel Cricket Club lifted the trophy after overcoming Aargau CC in a hard-fought final.
Basel’s Steady Batting Effort
Batting first, Basel CC built a competitive total of 151/7 in 20 overs. The innings was anchored by a superb knock from Tins Jose, who scored 67 off 56 balls, including well-timed boundaries that kept the scoreboard ticking. His effort ensured Basel had a solid platform despite disciplined bowling from Aargau CC.
Aargau’s Chase Falls Short
In reply, Aargau CC began cautiously but struggled to maintain momentum under the pressure of the chase. Despite crossing the 100-run mark in the 14th over, their innings ended at 119 all out in 19.3 overs, falling short by 32 runs.
Player of the Match
For his match-winning innings, Tins Jose (Basel CC) was deservedly named Player of the Match. His composure and stroke play proved to be the decisive factor in the final.
