Cricket Switzerland is pleased to announce the second round of selections for the U19 and Youth National Squads as part of the ongoing talent identification and development process.
These selections reflect continued assessment of player performances across domestic competitions, trials, and development programmes. The process aims to identify and nurture promising young talent while building strong pathways toward national representation.
Selected players will be informed directly with further details regarding training schedules, camps, and upcoming fixtures.

APPLICATION for U19 and YOUTH NATIONAL SQUADS – FEBRUARY 2026 SELECTION SESSION
Cricket Switzerland is inviting all eligible players to apply for –
- the U19 Swiss National Squad (born on or after 1st September 2008), or
- the Youth Swiss National Squad (born between 1st September 2006 and 31st August 2008)

This form aims to verify only the eligibility of players, not their technical and physical proficiency. A player is eligible if he meets the following three criteria (as set in the U19 Selection Criteria*), namely:
- criteria 1: nationality, place of birth, or residency
- criteria 2: age
- criteria 3: playing for two national teams
In filling the form, the player will need to provide all necessary documentation for Cricket Switzerland to verify that the eligibility criteria have been met.
Eligible players will receive an email invitation by 23January 2026 latest to participate in the 8 February 2026 combined U19 & Youth training day that will take place in Basel (St Jakob Halle), during which the Selection Committee will assess players (technical ability, physical proficiency, etc) and select those that will join respectively the U19 and Youth squads.

Cricket Switzerland invite tous les joueurs éligibles à poser leur candidature pour :
- l’équipe nationale suisse U19 (nés le ou après le 1er septembre 2008), ou
- l’équipe nationale suisse Jeunes (nés entre le 1er septembre 2006 et le 31 août 2008)

Ce formulaire a pour but de vérifier uniquement l’éligibilité des joueurs, et non leur niveau technique ou physique.
Un joueur est considéré comme éligible s’il répond aux trois critères suivants (définis dans les critères de sélection U19*) :
- Critère 1 : nationalité, lieu de naissance ou résidence
- Critère 2 : âge
- Critère 3 : participation à deux équipes nationales
Lors du remplissage du formulaire, le joueur devra fournir tous les documents nécessaires permettant à Cricket Switzerland de vérifier le respect des critères d’éligibilité.
Les joueurs éligibles recevront, au plus tard le 23 janvier 2026, une invitation par courriel à participer à la journée d’entraînement combiné U19 & Jeunes qui se déroulera le 8 février 2026 à Bâle (St Jakob Halle). Durant cette journée, le Comité de sélection évaluera les joueurs (compétences techniques, condition physique, etc.) et sélectionnera ceux qui intégreront respectivement les équipes U19 et Jeunes.

Dieses Formular dient ausschließlich der Überprüfung der Spielberechtigung und nicht der technischen oder körperlichen Fähigkeiten.
Ein Spieler ist spielberechtigt, wenn er die folgenden drei Kriterien erfüllt (wie in den U19-Auswahlkriterien* definiert):

Alle spielberechtigten Spieler erhalten spätestens bis zum 23. Januar 2026 eine Einladung per E-Mail zur Teilnahme am U19- & Jugend-Trainingstag am 8. Februar 2026 in Basel (St Jakob Halle). Während dieses Tag wird das Auswahlkomitee die Spieler hinsichtlich technischer Fähigkeiten, körperlicher Fitness usw. beurteilen und die Spieler auswählen, die in die U19- bzw. Jugendmannschaften aufgenommen werden.
