For the first time, we witnessed the formation of a women’s cricket team in Switzerland composed of dynamic women and junior girls from various clubs. They embarked on their inaugural journey at a T20 tournament in La Manga, Spain, facing fierce competition from three UK clubs.
This event marks a significant milestone for women’s cricket in our country, serving as a beneficial stepping stone towards nurturing the sport’s future. Talent was scouted from our summer and winter CSWL leagues, culminating in an intensive training weekend at Cossanay, where the team came together to start scripting their journey.
